Arkansas State Trooper Shooting

An Arkansas State Trooper on patrol along Interstate 40 near Conway was fired on by a gunman during an attempted traffic stop and foot pursuit involving a motorist exceeding the speed limit. This taking place on July 29th. An amended statement has since been released identifying 25 YO Edward House of Little Rock as the suspect that exchanged fire with Trooper Tyler Langley. House fled on foot after firing a rifle at Langley who did return fire. A short foot pursuit led House to being apprehended who was then taken to a local hospital to be examined; however he was not wounded nor was Trooper Langley. House is facing 6 felony charges including Aggravated Assault upon law enforcement, Simultaneous Possession of Drugs & Firearm, Fleeing and more. His bond has been set at $2 million and he is currently being held at the Faulkner County Detention Center.
