Arkansas Surgeon General Gives Info On State Re-Opening Committe

May 2nd is now listed as the projected date that Arkansas will peak in the number of COVID-19 cases.

As state officials begin looking to relax some of the restrictions and closures that have been in place the past few weeks, Arkansas Surgeon General Greg Bledsoe says the committee who will make recommendations to Governor Asa Hutchinson realizes the impact this is having on businesses in the state.

Howard County’s confirmed case total through Wednesday has increased to 11 which is two more than the previous day. Four people are listed as being recovered from the virus and the county has seen 39 negative test results.

The latest information for Pike County shows that the county’s two confirmed cases are now listed in the recovery column.
