Arvest Bank transiting to Farmers Bank and Trust

Arvest Bank’s transition to Farmers Bank & Trust is about to be finalized. Farmers Bank says its acquisition of the Arvest locations in several area towns, including Nashville, will be complete tomorrow. The banks will be closed through the weekend & reopen Monday as Farmers Bank & Trust.
In addition to Nashville, Arvest locations in Dierks, Ashdown, De Queen, Glenwood and Mt. Ida were also part of the Farmers Bank purchase.
All together, the Fayetteville based Arvest Bank announced last fall that it planned to sell off 16 of its locations. Farmer’s Bank & Trust is headquartered in Magnolia will have approximately 2.3 billion dollars in assets, ranking it the sixth largest financial institution in Arkansas.
