Ashdown Police Arrest Suspect Following ICAC Investigation

The Ashdown Police Department, along with officers from the Arkansas Internet Crimes Against Children (ICAC) Task Force, executed a search warrant on Monday, January 12, 2026, as part of an ongoing investigation.

According to police, the search warrant was carried out in the vicinity of the 700 block of Westside Drive. During the operation, officers arrested Loyd Walker on charges related to the distribution, possession, or viewing of materials depicting sexually explicit conduct involving a child.

Authorities say Walker was arrested without incident and was transported to the Little River County Jail.

The investigation remains ongoing.
