Authorities awaiting autopsy results in Delight investigation

Prosecutors say they are still awaiting the results of a state police investigation into the death of a Delight area resident last week. The body of 63 year old Theresa Humphry was discovered last Tuesday at her residence on Billstown Road. Initial information provided by authorities last week termed the death as a homicide investigation, but did not include any additional details. 9th West Prosecuting Attorney Bryan Chesshir said Humphry’s son was taken into custody. According to Chesshir, he is anticipating a charge of First Degree Murder, but is awaiting the final findings from the state medical examiner’s office and Arkansas State Police.
