Authorities Respond To Nashville Altercation
Nashville City Officers were dispatched to Food Fast on South 4th Street yesterday in reference to a physical altercation.
According to witnesses, 34 year old Darrell Scoggins and 24 year old David Williams, both of Nashville, had an altercation inside the store. Police Chief Amy Marion said the incident began when Scoggins came into the store and immediately started fighting Williams, who was standing at the cashier counter. Authorities say witnesses state Williams pulled a knife and stabbed Scoggins. After witnesses broke the fight up, Scoggins reportedly went outside into the parking lot and broke the windows out of William’s vehicle with a baseball bat.
Scoggins was treated at the emergency room and released. Both subjects were located and interviewed. Scoggins was cited for Battery 3rd Degree and Criminal Mischief 2nd Degree.
