Awards given by Coach Clift at the annual Nashville Rotary banquet

The 2023 Nashville Scrapper football team was honored Saturday night during the annual Rotary Club Banquet. Today we will highlight some of the players that received awards from Coach Tyler Clift. 

Coach Clift took a moment to talk about the Defensive Line as a whole and what makes them so special.

Clift started off by presenting the Senior Awards to Jose Perez, Armahd Cornell, and Anthony Wade.

Seniors Omari Benson and Fernando Perez both were presented with the Senior Award along with the 7-4A All State awards.

Clift even took a moment to recognize Sophomore Zaccheus Harris. Clift stated that Harris broke a lot of records, was a nightmare to the opposing teams, and has a whole lot of talent. Harris received the Triple A All-State award, 7-4A All State Outstanding Defensive Line Award, and Defensive Lineman of the Year award.
