8th North Task Force Arrests

Agents with the 8th North Task Force, Hempstead County deputies, and officers with the Hope Police Department arrested 59 year old James Earl Bradford of Texarkana, Arkansas on Thursday, April 11th on drug charges. He was arrested following an investigation into the sale and distribution of Narcotics in Hope. Agents seized three bags of Marijuana, a digital scale, three bags of crack cocaine, and approximately $4,000 in U.S. Currency. Bond has been denied.

Two Hempstead County residents have been arrested on multiple drugs and firearms charges. Special Agents with the 8th North Task Force assisted Arkansas Community Correction officers with a home visit on April 11th at 675 Hempstead 52 in Hope. Probation/Parole Officer Brandon Henry said when he walked up to the residence, that he had observed the homeowner, Corey Stout run and put something in the cushion of a recliner. Upon investigation, a clear bag containing a crystal like substance suspected to be methamphetamine was recovered. Officer Henry also recovered several other items including a glass pipe, firearms, and other drug items. Many of the firearms were loaded and not locked or secured. Stout, age 42, who is on parole and 47 year old Stephanie Reynolds of Hope were both placed under arrest and transported to the Hempstead County Dentention Facility.
