The Hope-Hempstead County Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce details of their upcoming annual meeting & banquet. President Bill Clinton will return to Hope, his birthplace, on Saturday, April 6, 2019 to serve as the 2019 Keynote Speaker.
The evening at Hempstead Hall begins with a silent auction and concludes with the announcement of the highly anticipated Citizen, Educator & Business of the Year Awards.
Chamber Director Beckie Moore says several goals have been set this year to revitalize downtown Hope and recruit new businesses. She also hopes to grow the Watermelon Festival and offer programs pertaining to workforce.
