Nashville Park Commission Discusses Projects

The Nashville City Park Commission met Thursday and discussed a couple of projects nearing completion. Work on the new bathrooms near the upper playground continues, construction has delayed due to weather.

Park Director Mark Dale says work on the Legion Hut is almost complete, the floor and windows have been fixed. He also said that work had been done on the parking lot drainage to prevent flooding.

Dale also addressed the removal of memorial bricks in the front entrance sidewalk due to safety concerns, as portions of the sidewalk is uneven. The bricks will be replaced soon.

The commission also approved a May 18th event request for the Arkansas Families of Fallen Officers to use the stage area.
