The South Pike County School Board met Tuesday to discuss the hiring of a superintendent for the 2019-2020 school year. The meeting was called to order by President Steve Conly at 6:07 p.m. and the board immediately entered into executive session. Discussing the process of hiring a new superintendent was the only agenda item. The board returned to regular session at 7:48 with no action taken.
Superintendent Roger Featherston announced his resignation at the January meeting, which is effective at the end of the school year.
