NJHS Hosts First Ever VEX Robotics Contest in Area

NJHS VEX Robotics Competition at Scrapper Arena- Feb 2, 2019.

Nashville Junior High School hosted a regional VEX Robotics competition at Scrapper Arena on Saturday, the first event of this type in southwest Arkansas. NJHS team B qualified for state and team A finished runnerup tournament champion. NJHS team A also qualified for state at the last competition they participated at.

The tournament champion went to team 51165A of Lakeside Middle School (Hot Springs, Arkansas) and team 32410A of Redwater High School (Redwater, Texas).

With a total skills score of 13, the robot skills champion award went team 51165C of Lakeside Middle School. This award is presented to the team that has earned the highest combined score from the Driving Skills Challenge and the Programming Skills Challenge.

The Design Award went to team 51165B of Lakeside Middle School.

The excellence award is presented to the top overall team and went to team 51165A of Lakeside Middle School.
