Howard County Extension Agent Staff Chair Jean Ince talked to the Nashville Rotary Club on Wednesday about the Create Bridges initiative. The purpose of Create Bridges is to raise awareness of the role retail, accommodations, tourism, and entertainment businesses play in the local workforce and economy. The regional steering committee will be developing and implementing strategies to strengthen local business sectors and the workforce within the defined three county area including Howard, Sevier and Little River counties.
