Civil War Battle Reenactment in Nevada County

The Nevada County Depot and Museum is sponsoring a Civil War Battle Reenactment March 1-3, 2019. The Reenactment of the battle will take place on the Prairie D’Ane battlefield located just off Exit 46 of I-30 on Hwy 19 N and will be open to the public on Friday, March 1 and Saturday March 2.
Schedule of Events and Ticket prices are as follows:
Student Day – Friday March 1st, 10:00am-2:00pm – tickets are $2.00 per student/facility (students must have school/parental permission slips in order to attend)
Saturday – March 2nd – Open to public 9:00am-3:00pm- tickets are $5.00 per person at the gate.
Saturday – March 2nd – 1:00pm-3:00pm – Battle reenactment will take place – Tickets are $5.00 per person at the gate.
Sunday – March 3rd – Reenactment for reenactors only – not open to public
Spectators are encouraged to bring a lawn chair as well as wear comfortable shoes and clothes(due to heavy rains the property is wet and muddy, so boots would be a good option!) Spectators will be required to walk a short distance to the battlefield reenactment site.
