Mineral Springs competed in the Ashdown Chess Tournament on Wednesday, March 27. The team consisted of Daniel Rojas, Jadyn Williams, Tiawan Alexander, Logan Lockeby, Alan Hernandez, Kason Conley, and Marquis Johnson. Daniel Rojas took first place in the 11th and 12th grade bracket undefeated. Tiawan Alexander and Marquis Johnson tied for 4th place in the 9th and 10th bracket. Their sponsor is the GT teacher, Ms. Loe .
