UA Cossatot announces the first annual Miss UA Cossatot Scholarship Pageant to be held at the historic UA Cossatot Bank of Lockesburg Gymnasium on Saturday, April 27, 2019, at 7 PM. The winner of the pageant will be crowned Miss UA Cossatot 2019, and will also receive a full tuition waiver while attending UA Cossatot. This is an opportunity for current and future UA Cossatot students to receive a scholarship, and also to promote their school and their community.
To be a contestant in the pageant you must be a female student who has never been married, you must be seventeen to twenty-one years old, and have a GPA of 2.5 or above. To participate, you must also be a current student at UA Cossatot or an area high school senior who plans to enroll at UA Cossatot. The winner of the pageant will be expected to make appearances and be on UA Cossatot promotional material while being a student at UA Cossatot for at least two semesters after being crowned Miss UA Cossatot.
The UA Cossatot Student Ambassadors are coordinating the pageant.
Admission prices for the event are $5. UA Cossatot students and high school students can pay $3 to attend, and there is no fee for children twelve and under.

We hope the event to be successful and we can make this a tradition for years to come,” said UA Cossatot Student Ambassador Valeria Gomez, “It is a scholarship opportunity that should be taken advantage of.”
