Dr. Luis Barandiaran, one of two surgeons at Howard Memorial Hospital, spoke to the Nashville Rotary club on Wednesday about colon cancer screening. Dr. B says this is the most important preventive measure that a person can take. Colonoscopies can prevent cancer by removing polyps when they are found.
