Pike County Quorum Court Justice of the Peace David Sirmon has resigned from position 7, due to moving out of the jurisdiction. A vacancy has been declared and Judge Dewight Mack says he has two individuals interested in filling the term. Those names will be recommended to the governor for his selection to fill the vacancy.
Judge Mack says updates to the Courthouse continue. The HVAC work has started, will mini-splits being installed in each office. The lobby and stairs will also be replaced.
