Alligator Within City Limits of Nashville

For the second time this month, residents living along Highway 27 North at the Nashville city limits have encountered an alligator. Wednesday, a resident spotted the gator on their property and notified local authorities. Arkansas Game and Fish personnel and sheriff’s deputies were able to secure the gator. It was then removed from the property and relocated.

Just a couple weeks ago, a larger alligator was also spotted in the same area…but eluded capture.
