The Howard County 4-H program is about to kick off a busy summer as the last day of the regular school session is Thursday. County Extension Agent Staff Chair Jean Ince says programs will include camps, cooking workshops and a national competition.
Six students will be visiting Washington, D.C. this summer, meeting with legislators and learning about government.
The 4-H STEM club will compete in the national seaperch competition June 1 and 2 at the University of Maryland. SeaPerch is an innovative underwater robotics program.
