If you have school-aged students in need of breakfast and lunch this summer, simply text “FOOD” to 877877 and you’ll receive a message with the closest location where they can get free summer meals.
No Kid Hungry has access to information about tens of thousands of groups serving free meals nationwide as part of the the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s (USDA) Summer Food Service Program.
Local summer meals available in our area include Mineral Springs and Nashville. Meals are available at the Mineral Springs High School new cafeteria through June 28th. Breakfast and lunch meals are offered to anyone age 18 and under. The time of meals include breakfast from 7:30 to 8:30 and lunch from 11:30 to 12:30.
Nashville Primary School is open for lunch each day from 11:30-12:45. Meals are also served from 11-11:30 at Nashville Administration Office 600 N 4th street
