Board Approves Nashville Primary Parking Lot Project

The Nashville School Board has approved an asphalt project at the primary campus in hopes to alleviate vehicle congestion during drop-off and pick-up times. Board members have approved a $29,175 project which will create a double lane around the playground, located next to the north parking lot, and update existing asphalt to match. Principal Nathan Evans hopes to have the project complete before the new school year begins.

Nashville Primary School Principal Evans also included an updated policy in the school handbook which better defines drop off and pick up times, which did receive board approval. He stated that some parents were arriving at the school as early as 1:30 in the afternoon to pick up their child at 3:00. This causes an issue for other visitors to the campus and blocks traffic.
