The city of Glenwood recently held an informational meeting on constructing a new baseball/softball complex. Meeting organizers say there are no definitive plans yet. They are looking at possible locations for the ball fields and plan to form a committee. Karen Baker says they hope to apply for funds through a grant to finance the project. The next public meeting will be held on July 23rd at 6 p.m. at Glenwood City Hall.
