Marie Ross, Soil Scientist from the Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) and Bailey Darnell College Intern with NRCS from Arkadelphia presented a program to the Kida Club at the Farmers Market Friday, July 19 on the different types of soil and the importance of each soil. Marie demonstrated what happens to the soil when rains and floods and the effects of it has on the soil.
