Public Notice from the Nashville School District

Public Notice from the Nashville School District:
State and Federal guidelines require that all special education records be destroyed six years after a student leaves the special education program. If you had a child who received special education services, and you desire to review or pick up your child’s due process records, you may call LaDonna Curtis at the Nashville Administration Office between July 24th and July 31st to make arrangements. These records are not your child’s permanent school records. These records contain special education forms and evaluations. These records which date prior to the 13-14 school year will be destroyed after August 1st.
