Howard Memorial Hospital Chief Executive Officer Debra Wright presented the 2018 annual report to members of the Nashville Rotary club on Wednesday, July 31. Wright talked about a few changes made to the facility, due to providing more outpatient services. Additional parking has been added on the hospital campus to provide space for patients and employees. The hospital staff has expanded to around 200 employees. Wright said the building is currently receiving a facelift with new flooring, paint, and furniture to give the hospital a fresh look. A new sepsis screening tool went online today to collect data and assist hospitals across the country. HMH provided $3.2 million in charity care during 2018, in addition to several other free community programs. New services added last fiscal year include a speech therapist, radiology equipment, and lab equipment.
