By U.S. Rep. Bruce Westerman (R-Ark.)
It doesn’t seem like that long ago that I was sworn in to this session of Congress, yet it’s already August. The speed of politics shows no sign of slowing down anytime soon and that only makes time go faster. One of the hardest parts about being a congressman is having to spend so many days away from Arkansas, especially because talking with community leaders and local families is valuable as I serve you in Congress.
That’s why I’m so grateful to have an incredible team working for me in the district, as they’re on the front lines of constituent service and engagement. They will be hosting mobile offices in almost every county in the Fourth District during the last week of August and first week of September. I know many of you have stopped by my district offices and met with staff, worked with them on your issues with the federal government and voiced your concerns. However, not everyone lives close to my main office locations of Hot Springs, El Dorado or Ozark, so we are bringing these offices to you!
For a full list of mobile office locations, dates and times, visit www.westerman.house.gov/about/events or www.facebook.com/RepWesterman. My staff will be at county courthouses and community centers and are happy to help with issues ranging from adoptions to Social Security benefits to Veterans Affairs claims. I hope you’ll be able to stop by.
