The Howard Memorial Hospital Foundation raised more than $2,000 at its cocktail party fundraiser held on August 9.
The Foundation profited more than $2,100 after the cocktail party. Sixty tickets were sold to the event and attendees had a chance to have a Meet and Greet with Shayla Copas – an acclaimed interior designer and author from Little Rock. The profit was earmarked for the Foundation’s construction of a new medical office building on the HMH campus.
Before the fundraiser, Copas was given a tour of HMH by Chief Nursing Officer Alesha Collins and Foundation Director Terrica Hendrix.
Hendrix introduced Copas to Wilton Graves at Nashville Nursing Home. Copas gave Graves an autographed copy of her new book, Four Seasons of Entertaining.
