U.S. Congressman Bruce Westerman has been working with the U.S. Forest Service to see what options are available concerning overnight camping and the utilization of more facilities at the Albert Pike Recreation Area. He has heard from several constituents and will be holding a public meeting next week. The meeting will take place on Tuesday, September 3rd at the Glenwood Public Library Community Room, located at 128 east Broadway Street. Anyone that would like to discuss any issue concerning the potential reopening of the Albert Pike Campground is welcome to attend.
