Arrests Made in Hot Springs Shooting

Arrests have been made in connection with a fatal shooting that took place in Hot Springs on May 12th. Twenty three year old Donyell King, a 2013 Nashville High School graduate, was shot and later died from his injuries at Lily Ruth Court.

Detectives with the Hot Springs Police Department arrested 23 year old Kaylen Burks of Malvern on May 17th for first degree murder as an accomplice, Terroristic Act (accomplice) and first degree battery.

Officers with the Benton Police Department also arrested 18 year old Tommy Woodfork III of Malvern on Sunday, May 19th for his involvement in the shooting. He will also face charges of first degree Murder, Terroristic Act, and first degree battery.

Both men are currently being held in the Garland County Detention Center on a zero bond.
