Central Arkansas Development Council Head Start programs in Pike County are now holding early enrollment for the 2019-2020 school year. Head Start provides a quality education for kids, including reading and writing. The program has qualified teachers and provides resources for children with disabilities. Registration is for schools in Murfreesboro, Delight, Glenwood and Mount Ida. If your child is turning 3 or 4 this summer, you may pre-enroll them now. Applications are available online at cadc.com.
Michelle Hood, CSBG Program Participation Supervisor, also says the CADC is providing free tax preparation services by appointment. A special tax day will be held at the Hope office on March 22nd.
Winter utility assistance is also still available and will continue through the end of May or until funds are depleted.
