The Central Arkansas Development Council is now taking applications for the winter Low Income Home Energy Assistance Program. In Howard County, you may apply on Mondays and Tuesdays from 1 until 4:00 at the CADC office, located at 103 West Shepherd Street in Nashville. Applications are being accepted in Pike County on Mondays from 8 until noon at the CADC Senior Center in Murfreesboro and on Tuesdays from 8 until noon at the CADC Senior Center in Glenwood. Proof of income is required, identification and a copy of a recent utility bill. Income requirements and other information can be found at cadc.com.
