Husqvarna in Nashville hosted a ribbon cutting ceremony Tuesday for the new 350,000 square-foot warehouse addition. Mineral Springs hosted a chess tournament on April 26th.  Mrs. Loe was the GT sponsor of this event.  Mineral Springs students Daniel and John Marshall tied for a fourth place finish.

Nashville School Superintendent Doug Graham recognized outgoing board member Mark Canaday at a special meeting held Monday evening. Canaday has served 15 years and also finishes up this year as board president. Superintendent Graham said that Canaday has been an advocate for the students.

The Nashville Scrapper Band Boosters recognized senior high band director Sara Jo Morris with a gift of appreciation at the annual band banquet on April 27th. Morris has been with the program for the past seven years and is relocating to Sherwood.
