First Competitive Year for Mineral Springs Chess Team

Mineral Springs competed in the Ashdown Chess Tournament on Wednesday, March 27. The team consisted of Daniel Rojas, Jadyn Williams, Tiawan Alexander, Logan Lockeby, Alan Hernandez, Kason Conley, and Marquis Johnson. Fant Retires from AFC

Kenny Fant, a ranger with the Arkansas Forestry Commission (Dierks office) is retiring after 43 years in forestry. Fant worked for Weyerhaeuser for 30 years and for the AFC 13 years. He says he has enjoyed serving the community.
