City of Murfreesboro to submit Fun Park Grant

Murfreesboro Parks and Recreation conducted a public out reach meeting on Thursday, concerning the future needs of the park. Mayor Rodney Fagan says the city park is submitting a fun grant to help update the playground area to make it safer and provide handicap accessibility.

Mayor Fagan says he is proud of the recent upgrades made to the park and hopes to expand it in the future.

An official request and application for the grant funding will be submitted soon.
