The Murfreesboro street department will be closing and working on east Main Street between 327 east Main Street and the junction of east Main Street and Anthony Lane on Wednesday, August 21 from 8 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. to replace broken culverts. There will be no thru traffic during these hours. The city apologizes for any inconvenience.
There will be another crew working at various areas in town working ditches and other culverts. Please avoid these areas as you see them working to reduce the chance of an accident.
