The Dierks City Council met for a brief meeting this week, discussing sewer plant upgrades and city maintenance. Mayor Ronnie Cogburn reported that several potholes had been repaired following recent rainfall, including on Arkansas Avenue. He also reported that two wild hogs had been captured at the city park. Repairs on the fire department building have also been completed, following a car accident that damage the building several months ago. The council took no action following an executive session to discuss personnel.
