Dierks City Council Hires New Police Officer

Dierks Mayor Ronnie Cogburn conducted his first city council meeting on Monday. The new mayor says he also welcomed three new council members including Quinn Revels, Jaron Tipton and Kevin Dinger. The council approved a cell phone allowance for three employees in the water and sewer departments. Council members also hired a new police officer, Zack Shankles…who has previously served as sheriff’s deputy for Howard County.
