Dierks High School will welcome around 250 students next week for the 2019-2020 school year. Chad Lites is the new high school principal and says that the staff will be implementing initiatives to better align curriculum.
“We are implementing professional learning communities this year to better align curriculum among teachers and improve test scores.”
Dierks High School held student registration on Monday.
Principal Lites also is proud to offer additional technology to students this year. “We will have one to one Chrome books this year for student use. Every student will have their own device to use at the building. They will not be able to take them home.”
Principal Lites says state representative DeAnn Vaught will also give a presentation to the staff this week concerning new state laws.
