First 2019 Meeting of Mineral Springs City Council

Mineral Springs Mayor Bobby Tullis says funding from a recent grant to build a new playground at the city park will be available soon. He says the equipment should be installed within the next 60 to 90 days. The first council meeting of the new year took place on Monday. Mayor Tullis welcomed the addition of Frankie Harris and Earl Haddan, two new council positions bringing the total number of council members to six. Tullis also talked about forming a new citizens committee that will discuss downtown improvements. The council also heard from a concerned citizen about drainage on Pine Street.
