Nashville firemen responded to a house fire Friday around noon on Jacques Street.
Lesia Green and her son, Domonick “DK” Kight of Nashville lost their home due to the fire damage.
A fundraiser for the family will be held on August 31st at the New Light CME Church, starting at 2 p.m. They will be selling sandwiches, hamburgers and hot dogs at the event. The family has requested donations of household items, personal items, clothes and monetary gifts. Those donations can be made at the event.
