Hempstead County 4-H Junior Horse Quiz Bowl Team Runner-up at State Event

The Hempstead County 4-H Junior Horse Quiz Bowl team recently placed runner-up at the state quiz bowl event. Kiersten Priddy, Anna Sweat, Savanah Jackson and Gatlin Priddy defeated Hot Springs County and Faulkner County in the first two rounds. They competed in the finals against Hot Springs County.

The horse judging teams in Hempstead County also recently competed at state. Sandra Goeldi placed 3rd in performance judging and 5th individual overall. Eva Reeder was 6th individual overall and Kelsey Harris was 16th individual overall. The team placed 3rd in the state.
