Hempstead County Sheriff Elected Vice President of Sheriff’s Association

Hempstead County Sheriff James Singleton has been elected as vice president of the state sheriff’s association. Singleton was sworn in recently as the First Vice President of the Arkansas Sheriff’s Association Executive Board during the Sheriff’s Annual Summer Convention in Rogers, Arkansas. Sheriff Singleton has served on the Executive Board for the past five years. All new board members were sworn in by Garland County Circuit Judge Ralph Olm of Hot Springs.

The Arkansas Sheriffs’ Association is comprised of Sheriffs from across the state who proudly serve and protect the citizens of Arkansas and provides up-to-date information for Arkansas Sheriffs and Deputies regarding other Sheriffs in the state, all activities of the ASA, and relevant issues concerning law enforcement.
