The Howard County 4-H SeaPerch team took part in a national competition at the University of Maryland over the weekend.
The students placed as one of the top teams in the nation, completing the obstacle course and challenge course more quickly than they did at regionals.
SeaPerch is an underwater robotics competition where team members must build a robot, demonstrate using the robot in an underwater obstacle course and keep a journal throughout the process.
The senior team includes Anthony Trombley, Alex Trombley and Nick Trombley.
