A 67 year old De Queen man died on Sunday following a plane crash in Sevier County. Authorities have released his identity as John Tackett…another man was injured in the accident, 77 year old Joe Greer of Horatio. Greer has been recovering at an area hospital.
The FFA crash report listed Tackett as a crew member and Greer as the passenger of the fixed wing multi-engine Cessna. The plane crash occurred to the west of DeQueen at about 4:40 p.m. on August 4th.
