The Mineral Springs High School band is seeking a $100,000 grant to help purchase new instruments. Grant funding is available through The Manilow Music Project, which is holding a voting contest to seek a winner. Parents and community members can help support the grant by voting online. Band Director David Bretz says the funding would assist them in replacing several well used instruments.
The Mineral Springs High School Music Department will present the spring concert and awards this evening at 6:00. The concert will include both bands and the high school choir. Everyone is welcome to attend.
