Mineral Springs School Board Approves Food Service Contract

The Mineral Springs School Board held a special meeting earlier last week, in addition to last Friday’s meeting. The board met on Tuesday without the required two hour notice to media. Board members approved a food contract from K-12 Culinary for the 2019-2020 school year.

The board also approved a proposal from Hostetler Handyman Service for the addition of a wall in the Speech/OT classroom in the amount of $11,340. The construction of the new wall is due to an additional special education teacher hire.

The board went into executive session at 7:21 p.m. and returned at 8:11 p.m. to open session. No action was taken.
