The Mineral Springs School Board met in special session on Monday, July 29. Board members approved several policies, in order to allow handbooks to be printed before student registration is held. There were no significant changes made to the student handbooks or procedure manuals. Interim Superintendent Curtis Turner did make one recommendation to require all staff to clock-in and clock-out. That recommendation was approved with a unanimous vote. Following an executive session, the board accepted the resignations of: Michele Ray (math teacher), Steve Dixon (transportation director), and Sandra Rhone (business teacher). The board approved the hire of Troy Bear as a business teacher.
