Murfreesboro City Council February Meeting

The Murfreesboro City Council discussed purchasing a new police car and lawn mower at the regular monthly meeting held this week. Council members also talked about the possibility of setting up a camera at the city dumpster. City administrators would like to remind residents that the dumpster is for household garbage only. Mayor Rodney Fagan said that there had been a few recent incidents of other types of unacceptable items being dropped off. In other business heard, Richard Tomlinson is a new police officer for the city of Murfreesboro.
