Nashville 8th Street Bridge Improvements

The city of Nashville had posted new weight limit signs on the 8th Street bridge, however they were swept away in the recent flood. The signs have been replaced and the bridge remains safe for vehicle traffic. Public Works Director Larry Dunaway says there are looking at some ways to reinforce the bridge. He spoke with a contractor on Monday, July 29th about it and also possibly raising the bridge on Mt. Pleasant Drive.
